[singlepic id=121 w=320 h=240 float=left]How often do you wish you wish you had more energy? If you are like the rest of us—often!! One day I realized that I was commenting on this problem repeatedly in a way that seemed to contain the hope that naming the issue would correct it! Duh! Then it occurred to me that maybe I had to DO something about it. Seems self evident doesn’t it? But we are human after all and there does seem to be that part of us that wishes that our problem statement came with the solution packaged inside!
There are of course many ways to build and strengthen energy: diet, exercise, proper sleep etc. But then there are the less obvious ways that counteract some of our most insidious energy drains….that is a major focus of the Living Energy Works approach.
What I have noticed is that once I began to integrate an energetic approach to life and living, things got easier. one thing that I began to do was to notice how many things were causing me to lose energy in a day. Then I looked at those things that I was doing to refuel and fill my energy account. Oh, Oh, major imbalance! So then I made a list of all the small and large things that boosted my energy and made a commitment to restoring balance to my energy account/day…Self!
So here’s the take away…
Make a list of what opens and strengthens you; commit to include more of those in your daily life. Make a list of what drains and depletes you and decide to eliminate as many of those things as you can over time.
This simple list is a great addition to an overall personal stress management program.
